1515 University Avenue is a multipurpose student center located on the Corner, adjacent to the UVA Grounds. With significant student involvement in the planning and design, the newly renovated space promises to become a dynamic center for student life on the Corner. It includes performance and rehearsal space, a game and lounge area, a gourmet dessert cafe, student art gallery, meeting rooms, and space for students to socialize and relax. The building is a natural extension of the University community, inclusive for all students, and alcohol-free.

Thank you for demonstrating your faith in my leadership and vision for this University. I promise to listen to you, to work alongside you, and to advocate on your behalf with both integrity and dedication.
The Department of Student Health recently diagnosed a case of mumps in our student population. The following email was sent to students earlier this afternoon and provided them with information about the mumps virus, how to avoid contracting mumps, and guidance on what they should do if they become ill. We hope that you will encourage your student to follow protective measures and to seek care if needed.
Christopher P. Holstege, M.D.
