August 29, 2017
Devin Rossin, Honor Committee Chair

Dear Student:

Welcome to the University!

As you begin or continue your academic career at UVA, it is critical that you understand your responsibilities as a student and the expectations we have here for academic and personal integrity. In order to reinforce your understanding of the Honor System, you are required to complete a brief educational module that discusses our Honor System. If you go to your Student Information System (SIS) account, you will see the Honor module under your To Do List.

Completion Time
15 minutes or less

All students taking a credit-bearing course at any school at the University are required to complete this module. You must complete the module by Wednesday, Sept. 6. Failure to do so will result in being blocked from registering for spring classes. I encourage you to take this module as soon as you are able.

If you encounter any questions as you work on the module, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on the Office of the Dean of Students website.

As you continue your studies this fall, I hope that this module will be helpful in furthering your understanding of our Honor System for the semester and during the entirety of your time here. If you ever have any questions about Honor at the University of Virginia, please feel free to contact the Honor Committee. You can find your elected representatives' contact information on our website or can call the office on the fourth floor of Newcomb Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 434-924-7602.

Best Regards,

Devin Rossin
