Dear UVA Students:

We are pleased to let you know that the University of Virginia has launched a new interface for the Student Information System (SIS). This interface has been designed over the last year with significant input from students.

Please familiarize yourself with the new features prior to the beginning of spring 2020 course enrollment:

  • Simplified log-in screen
  • Streamlined navigation
  • One interface that adapts to any device (e.g., phones, tablets, etc.), eliminating the need for SIS Mobile
  • Improved enrollment experience
  • Build My Schedule, which allows you to import and add courses to see different schedule options in a calendar or list view
  • Customizable Dashboard (e.g., display To-Dos, Holds, Schedule, etc.)

We highly recommend using Google Chrome to log in to SIS. Before doing so, please clear your cache. Learn about other supported browsers.

To learn more about SIS and the new interface, please see the UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) website, starting with https://in.virginia.edu/sis-help, and be on the lookout for SIS Enrollment Guide brochures available across Grounds. In addition, the UVA Help Desk is a resource that is available around the clock; find contact information at https://in.virginia.edu/helpdesk.
