  SUMMER WELCOME

We welcome UVA students to continue to use services at the Department of Student Health and Wellness over the summer months!

For detailed information about your eligibility, summer fees, and our services, please visit our website or email studenthealth@virginia.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!

  SUMMER SERVICES

Medical Services: Call (434) 924-5362 to set up an appointment. Students will have a telehealth consultation with a care provider and be scheduled for a telemedicine or an in-person primary or urgent care appointment at Elson Student Health Center as needed.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS): Call (434) 243-5150 to set up a consultation.

Student Disability Access Center (SDAC): Students who are new to SDAC can apply for services online, whereas current SDAC students can either reach out directly to their SDAC Advisor or email SDAC@virginia.edu for an appointment.

Office of Health Promotion: Call (434) 924-1509 for nutrition appointments, well-being consultations through WahooWell Remote, and for more information about our Collegiate Recovery Program.

  BUILDING PROTOCOL

ONLY come to the Elson Student Health Center if you have been specifically instructed by your care provider to do so. We are not accepting walk-in appointments at this time.

Your safety is our top priority, and we have strict measures and protocols in place at Elson to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

If you are feeling sick on the day of your appointment, please call our main number for further instructions.

The only open entrance/exit to Elson will be on Brandon Ave.

Construction continues on the new Student Health and Wellness building, which will be about 156,000 sq. ft. when complete. Elson Student Health Center is only about 35,500 sq. ft.!
