For a complete schedule, including when you should arrive at the Rotunda for the start of the procession, please see the Schedule of Events.

All graduates will require a ticket to enter Scott Stadium.  You can reserve your ticket and up to two guest tickets for the ceremony where your degree will be conferred beginning on Friday, April 23.  The deadline to claim your ticket and any guest tickets is Sunday, May 2.  Neither you nor your guests will be able to attend your ceremony if you do not claim tickets during this window of time.

Tickets will be offered through the UVAShots.com system that has provided tickets for Virginia basketball, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse games this year.

If you have used your UVAShots.com account in the past year, click here to enter your email address/student ID and password from your student ticketing account.

If you have not previously registered for your student ticketing account on UVAShots.com using your student ID number, please click here.

Once you have logged in to your account, beginning on Friday, April 23, you will see the graduation ceremony you are eligible to attend. You can then claim your ticket and up to two guest tickets.  Given the occupancy limit of the stadium is restricted due to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 72, there are no extra guest tickets, unfortunately.  For guests unable to attend, the ceremony will be livestreamed

For the graduates of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, you may choose either the morning or afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 22.  It will be on a first-come, first-served basis; when all of the slots have filled for either ceremony, you will have to choose the ceremony with slots remaining.

All tickets will be delivered electronically by Wednesday, May 12. Your student ticket is not transferable, but your guest tickets can be sent to your guests by forwarding the ticket email or by transferring them through your UVAShots.com account.  Please note that screenshots of tickets will not work!

If you or your guests do not have smartphones, please contact [email protected] to make other arrangements to attend your ceremony.

Please contact [email protected] if you encounter problems with registering or any issues with the UVAShots.com system.
