Dear Undergraduate, Graduate, and Professional Students:

Beginning July 1, all students who will live, learn, or work in person at the University during the upcoming academic year must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before returning to the Grounds.  A detailed set of FAQs is now available to answer questions you may have about this requirement.

Students may seek a medical or religious exemption to the vaccination requirement.  Links to the exemption request forms are available on the Student Health and Wellness website.  If a student receives such an exemption, they will be subject to pre-arrival testing, weekly prevalence testing, and likely other public health measures.  Students who are not vaccinated and do not qualify for an exemption will not be permitted to come to Grounds after July 1.

If you have not already done so, please plan to submit your proof of vaccination or exemption form to the HealthyHoos patient portal (using NetBadge) on or before July 1, 2021.  Students who are still in the process of being vaccinated should submit their documentation as close to July 1 as possible, and are not permitted on Grounds for any reason until they have done so.  Failure to submit this documentation in July could cause delays or disruptions to your program start date in August.

The vaccine brings us one step closer to preparing for a more normal academic year.  The University community looks forward to your upcoming arrival when students can safely live, learn, and participate in various activities on the Grounds.

Sincerely,

Allen W. Groves
University Dean of Students
