Welcome to UVA! 

We're so glad to have you as a part of our community! We want you to support you as you settle in by helping you form the kinds of deeper connections that make a new place feel like home. 

Join us in Hoos Connected! It's where small groups of First Years who live in the same or nearby dorm meet weekly to do fun activities and have real discussions that go beneath the surface level. The tone is casual, fun, and reflective. Groups are led by two trained upper-level student facilitators, so it's also an opportunity to get to know some upper class students.

If you act quickly, you can even get a course credit for participating! Sign up for PSYC 1020 on Mondays 5:30-7pm to get 1-credit just for hanging out and forming new relationships with other First Years. Spots are limited, so get yourself over to SIS and register now. 

If that time doesn't work for you, don't worry! Hoos Connected is opening their general enrollment this Wednesday!
